Funds raised by BFL, Inc. come from grants, donations, sponsorships, alumni, fans and friends, funds go to help fund scholarships, after school programs and tutorial sessions, player development clinics, camps, leagues, private lessons, and college recruiting consulting. BFL, Inc. supports its students, student-athletes, future athletic facility and improvements and other programmatic needs for the organization.

How to give donations by check or money order:
- Please make checks payable to Ball for Life (BLF), Inc.
- DO NOT write any other information on the “pay to the order” line of your check.
- DO NOT write a designation on the memo line of your check; instead, include a separate note telling us the individual, program, or ministry the gift is intended for.
- Make sure the check is signed and dated.

All contributions to Ball For Life, Inc. are income tax deductible and made with the understanding that Ball For Life, Inc. has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds, to assure their use for the intended exempt purpose.
To set up an automatic bank bill pay you will be required to contact your banking institution directly; logging on to the bank website is the most convenient but a phone call or visit to the bank may also be an option. They will provide step-by-step instructions. Your bank will most likely require some or all of the following information about Ball For Life, Inc.:

You can set up a one time payment in an amount of your choosing or set up recurring payments. You choose the frequency of payments and when during the month the payments are made. Most banks send email reminders. Payments can be changed or stopped at any time. Ball For Life, Inc. does not need to be informed in advance that an automatic bill pay has been established. At the appropriate time the bank will forward the payment to Ball For Life, Inc. either electronically or via paper check.
Gifts of appreciated securities may offer better tax benefits than a gift of cash. There are three ways to make a contribution.
Electronic transfer
- Please ask your accountant or broker to contact Ball For Life, Inc. for instructions.
Physical securities registered in the foundation's name
- For donors who wish to have shares transferred into the Foundation’s name, consult your broker/agent or the security issuing agent for instructions. The foundation’s Federal Tax Identification Number is ##-#######. After completion of transfer, send security via registered mail to the foundation. Please include a transmittal letter identifying the name and address of the donor, security description and quantity, and intended purpose of the gift.
